Moss growing in your MM-Mix?
When it stays dark and wet for a long time, moss can sometimes grow on top of the MM-Mix, for example liverwort. That is completely normal and harmless, and it is easy to get rid of.
When it's dark and wet for a long time, moss can grow on the top layer of your soil mix. Especially when you're not out in your garden regularly.
It's more common for boxes that are in the shade than boxes that get some sun.
The good news is that moss doesn't matter much, it's all natural anyhow 😉
What should you do about it?
Is there a lot of moss in your garden box? Remove the large clumps completely, along with any small seedlings growing between them. You can simply mix the rest back into the MM-Mix.
But do remove liverwort straight away. This type of moss is quite large and spreads very quickly. Before you know it, it can take over whole squares:

What to do?
Remove any large clumps and scoop the rest of the moss into the soil mix. Keep it loose so extra moisture can evaporate or drain away.
The remaining bits of moss will disappear as soon as it gets sunny.
Good luck!
