Already growing?
Then this is the time to get your garden boxes from previous years ready for a new season - if you haven't done so already.
To do this, remove the grid, remove all plant debris, thoroughly loosen up the mix and add fresh plantfood. This way, you start with a clean slate again and can begin seeding right away.

Are there any vegetables left that you sowed at the end of last year? Or perennials? Then work around them - or put them aside with a big chunk of MM-mix.
If you have several boxes, then gather them in one and handle the soil later in the year.

Leave plants that start to flower for a while - like this dinokale. The first bees and bumblebees will thank you 😀
Tips for March*
- Clean up your garden: remove all the weeds, wash the grids and labels, and get your buckets and tools ready again.
- Set up your vegetable garden with sturdy and durable materials. By investing a little extra in them now, you will not only get a better result, but you will enjoy them for years to come.
- Check your stock of seeds. Do you doubt if your old seeds are still good? Then, do a germination test: that's how you check which seeds will still sprout roots.
- Sow at the recommended time, even if it is already nice and warm. The days are still short, and light plays a major role. Plus, it can still get quite cold in March.
- Your seedlings will come up faster if you cover them with some fleece. The MM-muts is ideal for this.
- Start pre-sowing the summer vegetables on the windowsill as late as possible: Start with tomatoes at the end of this month, and wait with the rest until April.
* In a nutshell, just do what the Planty Gardening app says😉 It's got all these tips and more.
